Repeat Prescriptions

We have a computerised repeat prescription service for those on long-term treatment.

Please allow THREE full working days for prescriptions to be processed, considering weekends and bank holidays.

You can request your repeat medication:

  • Online via the link at the top of this page.

New users are required to complete a small registration slip and provide proof of photo identification at reception

  • Call in to the Medical Practice to make it in person between 08.00 and 18.30 Monday to Friday

  • Post your repeat slip in the post-box at the entrance of the practice or next to the Dispensary

  • Fax 01335 301222 at any time

  • Phone between 9am and 1pm

*Outside of these phone times you will not be able to speak to a member of the Dispensary team and will need to follow any of the other options*

Patients living more than 1 mile from any pharmacy can have their prescription dispensed at the practice if they choose to, by taking it along to our Dispensary.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked at least once a year to have their regular medications reviewed. It will be clear on your repeat slip when a medication review is required, or you have no remaining issues.

A medication review can be done by the Clinical Pharmacist, the Nurse Practitioner and the Practice Nurse depending on your medication; you will not necessarily see a GP. Please ensure that you book an appointment in advance to avoid unnecessary delays in obtaining your next prescription.
